Name picker
One list in, one winner out. Useful for giveaways, chores and settling who presents first.
How to use it
- Paste your list — one name per line, blank lines ignored.
- Choose whether a drawn name is removed from the pool.
- Press the button. The winner is shown; the list stays where you can see it.
Keeping it fair
People are famously bad at being random: ask a room to "pick a number from 1 to 10" and you will hear seven far too often. If the draw matters to somebody, let a machine do it and show them the list.
Drawing without replacement is the honest default for prizes — otherwise the same person
can win twice while somebody else never comes up at all.
